Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta concedes it will be difficult for his club to now win a fourth successive Primera Division title but insists they will not throw in the towel.

Barca slipped 10 points adrift of arch-rivals Real Madrid this weekend and, with Jose Mourinho's men having won 19 of their 22 league matches this season, the prospects of the Catalan side retaining their title are not looking great with 16 matches to go.

Nevertheless, Zubizarreta says Barca need to keep the heat on Madrid in case the in-form pacesetters start to falter.

"It's obvious that we don't depend on ourselves, nor on the game against them (Madrid) at the Nou Camp. But we cannot worry about what others are doing," Zubizarreta was quoted as saying in the Spanish media ahead of Barca's Champions League trip to Bayer Leverkusen.

"Mathematically it is difficult, but we need to try.

"We have to continue competing, keep the pressure on in the league because if anything happens to Madrid we need to be there to take advantage. But if Madrid are able to continue picking up points as they have been doing they will win the league."

here has only been 3 players who made me hold my breath in dread when they picked the ball up anywhere near our penalty area...in their prime Scholes and Giggs... and always Drogba. Awesome player who on his day was the best striker in the world in my opinion.

remember him scoring a 25-yarder, either the season just gone or the one before, against Bolton at the Reebok. I've never seen a ball hit that hard before in my entire life. You could almost feel the shockwave from his foot contacting it 40 yards away in the stands. Didier Droga. You might not have loved him, but you just had to be in awe of him.

den Hazard, def. - 1) that girl in a club who makes eyes at you all night, who allows you to buy her a drink and walk her home arm in arm, who then gives you a suggestive kiss on her doorstep before declaring how tired she is and how she has to be up early the next day. 2) A cock tease.
