Allegri: Urged his players to continue to work hard

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has urged his players to keep their feet firmly on the ground ahead of Sunday's Serie A game at relegation-threatened Cesena.

Allegri's men followed their 2-1 triumph at Udinese last weekend with Wednesday's 4-0 demolition of Arsenal in the Champions League.

"Against Arsenal we saw the best Milan this season," Allegri said.

"We didn't give them anything. We created so much and, in the end, we could have won by a bigger margin.

"But we have to remain humble and continue to work hard."

Milan go into the weekend one point clear of Juventus, although the Turin outfit have a game in hand.

A win at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi would be a further boost in confidence considering the challenging schedule Milan face, with a trip to Juve after the Cesena clash.

The Rossoneri are still without the services of suspended striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the club's leading scorer with 15 goals.

Maxi Lopez is set to start alongside Stephan El Shaarawy in the Rossoneri's attack.

Cesena coach Daniele Arrigoni knows his players will have to show a vast improvement if they are to surprise the league leaders.

Arrigoni's side threw away a 2-0 lead against 10-man Lazio to lose 3-2 last weekend in Rome.

The result was Cesena's 14th loss of the campaign and dropped them to 19th place - six points adrift of safety.

"It's not the result we wanted," said Arrigoni, whose side have won just one of their last eight league games.

"I am bitter because this was a game we should have won and I saw my players very determined throughout the week.

"We just didn't play well in the second half.

"Now we have to brace ourselves for a challenging game against AC Milan."

here has only been 3 players who made me hold my breath in dread when they picked the ball up anywhere near our penalty area...in their prime Scholes and Giggs... and always Drogba. Awesome player who on his day was the best striker in the world in my opinion.

remember him scoring a 25-yarder, either the season just gone or the one before, against Bolton at the Reebok. I've never seen a ball hit that hard before in my entire life. You could almost feel the shockwave from his foot contacting it 40 yards away in the stands. Didier Droga. You might not have loved him, but you just had to be in awe of him.

den Hazard, def. - 1) that girl in a club who makes eyes at you all night, who allows you to buy her a drink and walk her home arm in arm, who then gives you a suggestive kiss on her doorstep before declaring how tired she is and how she has to be up early the next day. 2) A cock tease.
