Dundee United have no fresh injury worries. Defender Garry Kenneth returned from Scotland Under-21 duty unscathed so should keep his place. Long-term absentees Keith Watson (knee) and Steven Robb (hamstring) are the only players unavailable.

Hibernian manager Mixu Paatelainen will be without midfield duo Brian Kerr and Guillaume Beuzelin. Paatelainen expects top scorer Steven Fletcher to have recovered from the chest injury he sustained on his Scotland debut against Croatia. Goalkeeper Yves Ma-Kalambay should shrug off a groin problem.

Striker Scott McDonald will also feature after missing out on international duty with Australia through injury. Defender Bobo Balde is added to the squad.

Gretna's starting line-up will come from the 15 first-team squad players still at the club, while the five remaining members of the disbanded youth set-up contest places on the bench. They have no injuries or suspensions, but no striker other than 17-year-old Nathan Taylor, who will be a substitute. Nicky Deverdics and Ben Wilkinson could be made emergency strikers.
